Hello from Alabama

I apologize if I am using wrong thread. Does anyone have info on engraver Vasco Revera? Cannot find much online of googling. He may be Italian? I have been looking at an older Smith and Wesson revolver that has 100% gold scroll type engraving and Revera Vasco has been engraved on the gun. Would like some info on him before I make an offer.
Should have photo of gun attached.
