Default Knife Shows

I've read a couple posts (here and others) that say they can't get a space at a knife show, as they are all booked.

So, the question is: Why not find out if someone will share a space. Or plan ahead and get a big space and have 2 to 4 split the cost (depending on space size availability)? If one is a "planned" no show, then open up the space to someone who can go. Don't know if this is even allowed, but if it is, then it might be a viable alternative to "single spaces".
