Default Life is good

Learning to engrave has been on my bucket list for years. In February I decided I’d give it a try. My only problem was every time I looked at engraving equipment my wallet would take a chunk out of my “well you know”. My wife suggested I give it a try using hammer and chisel since I’ve always been good with my hands. Progress was slow at best, but I finally started getting the hang of it. The pictures show the progress I’ve made from the scratches I first put in metal. This past July I took step two in this journey and attended one of the basic engraving classes with Ray Cover. Monday I take step three And order a new Classic setup from Steve. Now that I’m retired I’m starting to really enjoy life.

Looking forward to see the progress! :-)
