Default Hello hello

Well you guessed it, I'm new here.
I'm a knife maker out of Portland Oregon. I spend way too much
time carving and polishing. Maybe I'll learn something here about
filling the blank spaces. Here are a couple examples of my work.
Hope you like them.

Very nice looking knives.

And yes, I think they're going to look even better with a little engraving added.

Very nice!
I love the one's with the damast on the handle.
Do you make your own? or do you use powder damast.
Really great :yesnod:

The material I've been using comes from Devin Thomas Damascus http://www.devinthomas.com/
I've tried others, but keep coming back. Consistency is really important to me. It's disheartening to find a separation or other imperfection after 200 hours of labor. There material is always good.

Hello Bill, As i said before your knives are stunning. I can see Tim's influence in your designs. Glad to see you here knocking around ideas. No shortcuts on that carving it sounds like but the finished product speaks for itself. I have a Devon Thomas stick tang hunting blade i am going to finish doing something with someday. It is killer Damascus. Doug Sutherland

Doug,
Let me know if I can help you with getting that finished.

Welcom to the site. I am Neil, I was across from you at the Portland show and we talked engraving. I think you might learn something here.
