Default Hello from Idaho!

So I run the gun (mostly Glock) modding company SSVi, all polymer based work. I recently got into more wood engraving type stuff, especially where I use the same rotary tools. Well it turns out rotary tools don’t do the cleanest work on metal after a couple experiments on brass and steel so I’m going all in with a PC Classic. Mind you, the things I’m wanting to do aren’t the extremely fine detailed micro engravings, more your basic medieval, Celtic knotwork type of stuff on accent brass on sheaths or spear heads and whatnot.
I’m looking forward to learning a ton and seeing how well I can do with a proper engraving set up.
Here’s a couple examples of my typical style engraving on a couple Glocks.

Cool with your gun company!
Good getting going with a Classic too.

You may have seen already but Tom Sterling has some some threads about Celtic drawing. He recently put together a book too.

The Classic does work for carving wood. There is a video in this thread: https://engravingforum.com/showthread.php?t=10367

Thank you! Do you still make any of those dies you showed off in that thread? I'd love to get a few!

NGraver sells a set of 5 gouges and chisels for wood engraving for his tool with a special adapter. I have no idea if they will fit other units.
