Default Palm control arrives....

So, my palm control arrived this morning along with the attatchments for a compressor
Problem now is to find a way to attatch to my compressor...

Looks like a trip to a hardware store or two is needed.

The fitting on the end of line you received is 1/4" male NPT (pipe threads). This should be the same fitting on your compressor but female threads. If not, there may be something else screwed into that fitting on your compressor. Take that off first and see if that does it. If not, can you take a picture of the current fitting at the compressor and post it?

Thanks Steve

I had one of those quick release things installed... managed to undo it with some hammering and now all is well
I do like that quick release in case i need to do some DIY , maybe i`ll order a bayonet fitting for the pipe and use that.

Lots of stonesetting waiting to be done, so a good workout for the tool in the morning!

Okay, good!

Yep, you could pick up an extra male bayonet quick release and I beleive it will have have matching female threads to the fitting at the end of the hose you received. This way you can use use your quick release at the compressor.

Had a great days stone setting with the palmcontrol today, brightcut, beads, channels.... super job

Phils bulino tool makes a great tool for cutting a bearing for channel set stones..and a blank graver makes a great tool for hammering down the metal.

I did notice that the tool points stay in great condition far longer now as opposed to when handpushing.

Overall i am very impressed with this instrument and fully recommend it.
