Default Tried Power Engraving, going to push now

Hi, I'm new to engraving, thought I would give it a go.

Went out and got a pair of turbo carvers and some flat picture frame glass, and ended up underwelming myself.

Going to go with the simple stuff instead, handheld pushers. Does anyone have a link to a general how-to thread/webpage for push graving?

Some friggin AWESOME pictures some people have on here...

well turbo carvers will work for some engraveing and will hog out material but they are very undependable, push graving and air engravers are best for real engraving work

I'm personally leaning towards saxophone/trumpet bell engraving, but first LOTS more reading before I go get tools and supplies...

I didn't try mine long enough to see any reliability problems, but I did run out of air in my little compressor fairly quickly, and waiting 40 seconds to carve 30 seconds got old real fast...
