Nice video, every explanation of how and why something is done helps!...I also like the nut you switched to use with the template,it looks bigger and better for gripping. Is that something you came up with or does Steve make those available with his template's?

Tim,well done,do you think you could do a sharping video about the use of diamond laps & mandel adaper for converting a drill press to a power hone? I really like Carl Bleile's idea on sharping with the drill press.J.J.

I think Tim Wells made his nut in the video. Is that correct Tim? Looks good Tim.

I have knurled nuts. They are $6 each. Tom White that sells the power hone has them too. I don't have them on the site but been meaning to add them. For now if you'd like one you can send a paypal to my email for $6 plus $1 or $2 for first class shipping. If you have a lathe and would like a project, the thread is a common 1/2"-13UNC

That nut is one I made. I modify in some way every tool I own, just can't help myself I guess. Roger will have to make his own video, I'm not familiar with what you were asking about.

Just wanted to say Thanks, Tim. I appreciate the vid. Making these 'little' tutorials takes more time than people realize and a picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks, my friend!
