Hi Briar,
If you get a sharpening fixture with some different V angle or flat templates you can sharpen all sorts of gravers points ,the basic I can suggest are V96,V116 and a flat and knife combination templates to start with the diamond bench stone set,for grinding the points ;

Also get some hss,M42,and some carbalt graver blanks to make these points from.When you make points from these blanks they will cut almost any metal.
