Joseph,

I just read your most recent post and find it both touching and insightful. I am sorry to hear the tragic news of your son and your faithful dog. A doubly hard blow. My sincere condolences.

Viewing your paintings, I would not be surprised that you find more aclaim in the world of post modern art than you did as an engraver. It would only take the right gallery or promoter to see your paintings and know your story.

I hope you can find the right place for you and Franca in Italy. It is truly the art capitol of the Western world. I have also been concerned for your safety in Mexico in the last few years. At your age you deserve to live in peace and serenity.

My best wishes to you and Franca,

Roger

ps: That last painting is reminicent of Paul Gauguin.
