Another consideration for holding work is a pitchbowl or even a traditional leather sand bag. Again it really depends on what type of objects you will be cutting.
Is there any chance of your workplace buying the vise and scope and you buying the engraving tool. It seems to me that if you are using your equipment at work to benefit their business they need to help with the investment in equipment.
